Removing invasive species from West Michigan

When thinking about invasive species, animals that don't originate from the United States typically come to mind. However invasive species come in many different forms, including plants. Drew Rayner of the West Michigan Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area (CISMA) discussed an invasive plant species called the European Frogbit, and how it's effecting other wildlife in the area. The species has been found as far west as Reeds Lake at Remington Park in East Grand Rapids.
