Bird-watching is a popular activity in the Great Lakes State. On January 31, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and Ottawa County Parks will led a guided caravan birding tour of coastal Ottawa County. During the tour, those participating saw a vast variety of bird species. They also had the chance to learn more about wildlife management, habitat projects under way at state and county parks, and hunting opportunities. To learn more, visit the MI Birds Facebook page, the Michigan DNR's website or Ottawa County Parks website.
